Climbing history in Patapsco started back in the 1960s and today some of the more popular spots include Ilchester, Friction Wall, Woodstock, and the Bloede Dam area.
For Climbers, the steep, rocky hillsides of Patapsco State Park have always been an attractive asset and many of our climbing routes feature great beginner and intermediate climbs- the best way to introduce friends and children to rock climbing.
